1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Bikers Family Ghana website at bikersfamilyghana.org ("the Site") or applying for membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Membership Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for membership
- You must hold a valid motorcycle licence issued in Ghana or your country of residence
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- Membership is subject to approval by BFG administrators
- BFG reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership at its discretion
3. Member Conduct
As a member or visitor, you agree not to:
- Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Upload content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or member portal
- Use the Site for any commercial purpose without BFG's written consent
- Harass, threaten, or harm other members or BFG staff
- Violate any applicable Ghanaian law or regulation
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Annual membership subscriptions are payable in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by Ghanaian consumer protection law. Payments are processed securely by Paystack. BFG does not store your card or mobile money details. Membership access is contingent on payment being verified.
5. Events
Event bookings are subject to availability. BFG reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. In the event of a BFG-initiated cancellation, a refund or credit will be offered. Participants attend all BFG events at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety, insurance, and compliance with road traffic laws.
6. Gallery and Marketplace
By uploading content to the BFG gallery or marketplace, you grant BFG a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Site. You retain ownership of your content. BFG may remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate. Marketplace transactions are between members; BFG is not a party to any sale and accepts no liability for disputes.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the BFG logo, text, graphics, and design — is the property of Bikers Family Ghana and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without BFG's prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, BFG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in BFG activities. BFG's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in membership fees in the preceding 12 months.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
10. Changes to These Terms
BFG may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to members via email or the member portal. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
